Cassandra Diaz is a civil litigation attorney who represents businesses, insurers, employers, retailers, transportation companies, and medical professionals in a broad range of litigation matters, including personal injury defense, premises liability, trucking and transportation litigation, medical malpractice, insurance coverage, real estate-related disputes, and nonsubscriber workplace injury claims. A significant portion of her practice is dedicated to nonsubscriber defense, where she represents employers in matters involving employer negligence, workplace safety, training and supervision, premises liability, discovery disputes, and arbitration proceedings. She also has experience in land use and real estate matters, including zoning ordinance issues. She handles matters through all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
Cassandra earned her J.D. from South Texas College of Law while maintaining full-time employment. During law school, she participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic, received her Mediation Certificate, and completed an internship with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in the child abuse and human trafficking divisions.
Outside of her practice, Cassandra enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, going to the beach and river, working out, and trying new foods.
