Laura is licensed to practice in Texas and New Mexico. Before joining the firm, she gained valuable experience working at the Texas Office of the Attorney General and private law firms. Laura is an attorney with diverse litigation experience, representing clients in matters such as constitutional violations, personal injury, trucking and auto accidents, medical malpractice, and workplace injuries.

Representative Experience

  • Representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury disputes, including medical malpractice, trucking and auto collisions, and workplace injuries.

  • Representing state agencies in the Texas Opioid Litigation.

  • Handling trial and appellate litigation for state agencies in cases involving agency rules and actions, including constitutional claims, sovereign immunity, and open records requests.

Extended Bio

After earning her law degree, Laura honed her skills at the Texas Office of the Attorney General and in private practice. These roles provided her with a broad foundation and invaluable insights into litigation.

Laura graduated from Texas A&M University School of Law in 2021, where she developed strong written and oral advocacy skills. She participated in several moot court competitions and served as a managing research assistant to Professor Gabriel Eckstein. She co-authored two papers on groundwater laws and regulations, which were cited in 2024 by the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology in a report to the White House on groundwater sustainability and depletion risks.

Since moving back to central Texas in 2022, Laura has settled in Austin with her husband. Outside of work, she enjoys baking and gardening.
