Jen Daves, Legal Nurse Consultant, provides unique medical and legal expertise, allowing our legal team to view the case from a different perspective. Her role involves evaluating medical records, background reports, and medical invoices, conducting in-depth medical research, drafting medical summaries and chronologies, and collaborating with attorneys and paralegals to prepare the case, including guiding the retention of medical experts.

With a career spanning over 28 years in 911 pre-hospital emergency care as a licensed paramedic and critical care nursing, Jen has honed her skills as a nurse expert in both medical malpractice on the plaintiff side and as a Legal Nurse Consultant on the Personal Injury and General Liability defense side. Her extensive experience serves as a strong bridge between the medical and legal practice.

Jen attended Texas Tech University, majoring in Nursing. During her undergraduate studies, Jen graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and obtained her Paramedic License. She earned her Nursing Degree from South Plains College School of Nursing. Her areas of specialty include pre-hospital emergency care, Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, pediatric OR, and Post Anesthesia Care, as well as administrative experience as both an ER charge nurse, ER Educator, and a Transfer Nurse Coordinator for the Ascension Seton Network in Austin.

Jen’s main focus was Emergency Medicine and Critical Care, and she earned her Certified Emergency Nurse Certification through a rigorous testing process, the highest and most difficult board certification a nurse can earn in the Emergency Medicine Specialty.

Jen’s medical, legal, and administrative experience brings added value to Doyle & Seelbach's clients as she investigates, communicates and interprets the medical findings to the attorneys.

Jen lives in Bee Cave. Jen’s 2 daughters, have followed in Jen’s footsteps as they both are recent graduates of Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Nursing.  She is a die-hard Texas Tech Red Raider alum and fan.

In her free time, she loves to travel with her daughters and family. Jen is in the beginning stages of working towards policy change for victims of domestic and sexual violence and being an advocate for these victims.
